Alan Baird

Pastoral and Ministry Studies

Alan retired as Ministry Studies Tutor at IBC in 2013. Prior to that he had been in pastoral ministry for over 25 years. Alan is currently the part-time interim pastor at Emmanuel Baptist Church, Lisburn. He teaches some of the pastoral and ministry classes.

Stuart Crooks


New Testament Studies

Stuart is a recent graduate of the College. He is serving as the pastor of Dundonald Baptist Church, Belfast. Stuart teaches New Testament.

David Ellison


Biblical Studies

Davy graduated with BD and MTh degrees from the College. Having served as Interim Baptist Youth Director, he is now furthering his postgraduate research in Biblical Studies. He teaches New Testament.

Campbell Hamilton


Mission Studies

Campbell and family spent a number of years working with Mission Africa in Nigeria. He was a tutor in a seminary training for Christian service. Campbell teaches Mission Studies.

Leslie Hutchinson



Leslie has been in pastoral ministry for some 30 years. He is currently the pastor of Ballycrochan Baptist Church, Bangor. Leslie has played an active role in Baptist Missions over many years. He teaches Ethics.

James Murdoch


Pastoral Care and Evangelism

Jim has pastored a number of churches in Ireland, also working as an Evangelist. Early retirement on health grounds has opened a door of service in teaching Evangelism and acting as pastoral advisor for IBC students.

David Ramsey


Youth Ministry

Dave is the Assistant Director of the Association and was the Baptist Youth Director. Prior to that he qualified and worked as an accountant in industry. He serves as an elder in his local church. He teaches Youth Ministry.

Andrew Roycroft


Biblical Theology, Apologetics, New Testament

Andrew has been Pastor of Millisle Baptist Church since 2010. Previous ministry has included serving as an Assistant Pastor in Newtownards Baptist Church, as Pastor of Armagh Baptist Church, and as a missionary with Baptist Missions Peru. Andrew is a graduate of Queens University Belfast (English literature) and the Irish Baptist College. Andrew teaches Apologetics, New Testament Studies and Biblical Theology.

Ken Scott

LTh MA MLitt PhD

Mission Studies and New Religious Movements

After some 30 years of ministry in Peru Ken then served with the College and retired in 2014. He has a passionate interest in Missions, which he teaches. He is currently writing a book about a new religious movement found only in Peru.

Gordon Walker


Old Testament

Gordon serves as the pastor of Carryduff Baptist Church. He graduated from IBC in 2012 and prior to that worked as an IT professional. Gordon teaches Old Testament.

Alan Wilson


Visiting Tutor - Homiletics

Alan is currently working on his Doctor of Ministry degree through the College. He is researching the significance of ‘crucible’ experiences in the development of Christian leaders. He has worked as a pastor for over 20 years in Switzerland and Ireland. He is also an associate tutor at Belfast Bible College. He teaches Homiletics.
